Sergio Vinitsky- an international entrepreneur, speaks about: Smart cities, innovation, Israel Smart Cities Institute , Fira Barcelona , the Smart city Expo, and municipal employees.

Amongst his different activities- Sergio is the representative of Fira Barcelona in Israel - the organizer of one of the largest and most famous smart cities conference in the world - SMART CITY EXPO.

Sergio speaks with Adv. Rachel Pasher EIjkenaar, about the importance of recognizing the work and innovation of employees in the municipalities and other local governments.

We also spoke of the importance of this new global forum - that Sergio joined its advisory committee.

Municipal employees , do not usually receive personal accreditation or appreciation within different forums - and there is certainly a good reason to promote it - as the Global Forum for Innovation in municipalities has set as one of its goals (https://www.isci-globalforum4cityinnovation.com/).

As Digital Tel-Aviv came up in the talk as a good example of innovation by employees- we would like to acknowledge the city's previous CIO Liora Shechter and the current one- CIO Itzik Ben David- that are- with other employees- an important part of the digitalizing and in that aspect "Smarting up" this city.
